Learning UX

uxbooks-uxpost

I’m finally learning the world of User Experience (UX), an area of the design field that is critical today, especially in the San Francisco Bay and Silicon Valley areas. I’ve audited a wonderful UX class taught by City College of San Francisco colleague Beth Cataldo. These are the two books I will be using as a venture into this field on so many people’s radar.

Sounds very interesting. Looking forward to hearing more about it.

I’ve been following a similar path thanks for sharing your insights on UX, and learning what new challenges we all face. But this frontier reminds me very much of learning all those new software programs and buying my first Apple computer. Perhaps I can take a step back in time and say even those who might remember switching from live radio talk shows to having a television in there home.

Ayana, have you been able to participate in any of the UI/UX studies? By the way, I believe I have a copy of this book, maybe a Kindle version.

I think I was in the same class when you were auditing it.
